Research conducted by IDC have claimed that the mobile phone market grew by 6.1 per cent year on year in the fourth quarter of 2011, while the feature phones market has declined to its lowest point in over two years.
Also, the 6.1 per cent increase was higher than the IDC's forecast of 4.4 per cent but was weaker than the 9.3 per cent growth seen in the third quarter of 2011.
