So, in a bid to try and keep at least some degree of order in the chaotic world of technology rumours, we have decided to create what we like to call a 'rumour round-up' on the latest Samsung Galaxy S2 reports and as well as keep you up-tp-date on potential release dates.
Be careful though, technology rumours have the potential to range from feasible to farcical, we'll leave it to you to decide which reports sound the most realistic - so don't shoot the messenger (i.e. us)!
Release date
Initially it was widely rumoured that we would see the Samsung Galaxy S3 at Mobile World Congress this year, but alas that has been and gone and there was no successor the Galaxy S2 smartphone.
It appears Samsung have noticed the hype growing around the Samsung Galaxy S3 and will now launch the phone at an event solely dedicated to the smartphone.
Speaking about the the Samsung Galaxy S3's no-show at MWC this year an official spokesperson for Samsung said “The successor to the Galaxy S2 smartphone will be unveiled at a separate Samsung-hosted event in the first half of the year, closer to commercial availability of the product.”
