The UK Upcoming Smartphones 2013
2013 will bring the UK
a lot of exciting smartphones and this is what to expect!
Apple
iPhone 5S
Apple will be back with the iPhone
5S, so for those who just bought the iPhone 5, don’t get in a tizzy because
there’s no iPhone 6 this year.
The iPhone 5S is expected to have a faster A6X processor, an amazing 15MP camera and a longer battery life—those are the rumors thus far. So, why is this smartphone worth the wait?
Well, despite the same old physical design, we just can’t get enough of the iPhone and it’ll be great to see all the new features when it arrives.

HTC
M7
A follow-up to the HTC One Series,
the M7 is expected to have a 4.7-inch HD SoLux display with a 467 PPI pixel density.
Rumored to run on Android 4.2, this new smartphone from HTC will also have the latest version of Sense, 5.0. It will have a quad-core Qualcomm processor and a 32GB internal storage capacity, and other rumored features include: 2GB of RAM, 4G network, 3G Network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and other standard connectivity options. It is also expected to have a 13MP camera and a 2MP front camera for video chat.

Samsung
Galaxy S4
Of course, 2013 would be incomplete
without a new addition to the Samsung Galaxy series. Last year, the Galaxy S3
became the bestselling smartphone in the market. The Galaxy S4 will definitely
entice many consumers once it is released this year. It will have a 5-inch full
HD display with an impressive 1920 by 1080 pixel resolution and a pixel density
of 440 PPI. Rumor has it that it will be released in the first quarter. It will
probably run on Google’s latest Android operating system; Jelly Bean.
The Galaxy S4 is rumored to be
powered by a 1.4 GHz Cortex A9 Processor and an ARM Mali-400MP quad-core GPU.
Although it only comes with a 16GB storage capacity, it also has a microSD
slot.
Why is this exciting? Well, Samsung
already gave us the S3, which was phenomenal, and then the Note 2, which was
better, thanks to its larger screen. This Korean company has given us amazing
smartphones, so there’s no question that the S4 will be explosive. Besides,
improving the already-great S3 is like heaven’s gift to techies.
Blackberry
Z10
Out in UK:
Although there was a gradual
decrease in the hype for a BlackBerry phone, it seems that Research In Motion
is going to build it up again this January. No longer a rumor, this upcoming
phone will be released on January 30. The first BlackBerry smartphone to run on
the latest operating system for BlackBerrys, it has a 4.2-inch screen with a
resolution of 1280 by 768 pixels that has a pixel density of 356 PPI. Its rear
camera offers 8MP while the front one offers 2MP for video chat. Although it
only comes with a 16GB storage capacity, it supports a microSD card, so that’s
a huge plus. I’m pretty sure that BlackBerry fans, who have been waiting for
new BlackBerry smartphones, are excited for the Z10.
